Lauren and Joe celebrated the classic beauty of Detroit on their wedding day. They chose to get married in the oldest church building in the city - Ss. Peter & Paul. This stunning location for their vows, in combination with a variety of classic and unique portrait locations left me feeling warm and fuzzy even on a cold late fall day. We even saw the first snowflakes of the year ;) I must also mention that Joe and Lauren are the fourth couple we've had the privilege of photographing who met and fell in love at UM Law! Maybe it's the romantically beautiful architecture of the law quad, who knows, but there are clearly some good vibes happening at that school! ;) I'm SO happy for these two - cheers to married life Lauren & Joe!
AHH! Molly & Phil! Such an amazing duo. Molly's positive energy was radiant and contagious and let me tell you - she could not wait to marry Phil. The two married at St. Patrick's in Wyandotte, where Molly's parents, grandparents, and sister were also married. The connection to family, faith and tradition was very apparent. Throw in a touch of superstition - a rosary placed on the bushes outside the family home to ward off rain - and everything was good to go.
